Tell Me THE STORY - Week 30

Surely it was for my benefit that I suffered such anguish.
In your love you kept me from the pit of destruction;
You have put all my sins behind your back.
(Isaiah 38:17)

Judah practiced a relationship-less religion.  They boasted of doing all the right things, but their worship was false and empty because it was not "in truth or righteousness" (Isa 48:1).  Judah was a faithless people who no longer trusted and relied on God.  But God is faithful.  That meant at least two things: (1) He would be just, and (2) He would be merciful.  Judah’s faithlessness was about to meet God’s faithfulness.  What would this mean for the faithless, and what did those remaining faithful have to look forward to?
