How is your church family meeting the physical, spiritual, and social of needs of your senior adults, the veterans in God’s great army?

There are two kinds of people in the church, those who are age 65 and older, and those who are going to be. The graying of the church is a fairly new phenomenon. Each day 10,000 Baby Boomers are reaching age 65, and that will continue until all 70,000,000 of them are age 65 or older. In the last 100 years, better nutrition and health care have added over 30 years to our life expectancy. God’s Word is clear regarding what He expects of older Christians (Psalm 92:12-15). But some seniors are “go’s,” some are “slow go’s,” and some are “no go’s,” so they have different needs and challenges. We will explore how to plan Senior Adult Ministry in the local church to meet the needs of ALL senior adults.
