Paul, the least of the apostles

Sep 20, 2020 | by Shawn Gary

I want to know Christ – yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead (Phil 3:10-11).  Those were the words of Paul the apostle as he described his life's desire to go deeper and deeper into Christ.  But that is not how his life started out, and that is not the trajectory he as a young man thought his life would take.  How did one who started out violently opposing Jesus come to be one who wanted to have Jesus fill every part of his being?
