Our Seniors group is an active and friendly bunch of individuals, and there is always room for more. Come Seek God and Serve Others with us.
Sunday Bible Class: 9:15 in the Fellowship Hall
Wednesday Bible Classes at 5pm or 7pm
Ways to Get Involved
Thursdays 9-2: Senior Game Day. Every Thursday this group gets together to play games and share a meal from 9am-2pm in the University Center. A lunch donation of $5 is encouraged, and is always worth it.
Senior Luncheon. The third Thursday of every month we host a special luncheon for all seniors, even those that do not like playing games, and include a special guest speaker on topics of interest for living a faithful Christian life as a senior and extending a legacy that lasts into eternity.
Senior Trips. This group plans 2-3 trips a year for the senior group to go, do, and see. Some examples of previous excursions are the Christmas light tour, local and surrounding area museums, and theatre productions. Trip updates are made during Thursday announcements and can be found in the bulletin.
Hospital/Shut-In Visits. Many active seniors in our group take on the role of an encourageer and minister as they spend time visiting and serving one another, especially those who are shut-in and/or hospitalized.
Service Projects. There are several groups of individuals at Green Lawn that are ready and willing to serve if and when the opportunity arises, if there is something that you need done or know that needs to be done for someone else please let the office know.
