Leadership Makes a Difference
In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength.
(Isaiah 30:15)
Leadership can make or break a people. Israel’s evil leadership led to their final destruction and extinction. Judah’s kings – sometimes good, sometimes bad – set the tone when each ruled. Then came Hezekiah. “Hezekiah trusted the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him” (2 Kgs 18:5). He led a revival that became contagious in Judah. And when he trusted God against Judah’s enemies, the people trusted as well. Do you look for a revival today? Let it begin with me! Lead, and others will follow.
