Growing Up in Christ
Speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect
the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
(Ephesians 4:15)
Coming to Christ is a life-long journey. It begins with faith, and it ends in faith. In between is a lifetime of knowing and growing closer to Christ. It begins with a decision of faith to orient life away from the world’s darkness and to the kingdom of light. The journey continues as faith leads the way, maps the course, and directs a person toward deeper knowledge and love of Jesus Christ, being transformed more and more into the likeness of Jesus. Have you gotten stuck in your faith? Have you rested too long at a particular stop along the journey? The trip is not over! Keep growing, keep pressing on, and keep looking more like Jesus every day.
