Alexe' Buschman
Director of Bright Horizons
Alexé Buschman was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated with a B.A. in Electronic Media and Communications and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University in 2012. Alexé spent 5 years teaching in Frenship ISD and then 5 years teaching 3 year-olds at Sugar N Spice PDO. She has a passion for children and education but has loved being in a position to share the love of Jesus with children and their families. She accepted the job as Director of Bright Horizons in 2023.
When time allows, Alexé enjoys time away at the lake and trips to the mountains with her family. Alexé’s favorite food includes Mexican food, steak and pasta with a big glass of half and half iced tea.
Alexé met her husband, Jeff, her freshman year at Tech at a “Worship in the Park” event. They have been married since 2013. Jeff works as a detective with the LPD. They have three children together: Paxton, Callan and Madalyn.
